About Us

The founder of Shivam Vidya Mandir High School and Junior College is our respect Principal Shri. Ramashankar Babulal Shrivastav, and was started in year 1981; the people of Sakinaka-Andheri and the surrounding suburbs witnessed the birth of this school, and the committee was established with the objectives of catering to the educational needs of the Hindi speaking community. It made a humble beginning by starting a primary school, which gradually expanded into a fully fledged secondary school.

The Hindi High School with its high academic standards has carved for itself a place not only among educational institutions imparting instructions in Hindi throughout Sakinaka-Andheri. With its primary objectives achieved the committee decided to extend its frontiers and broaden its horizons. The Shivam Vidya Mandir High School and Junior College came into existence in 1997, enabling a larger section of the society to take advantage of the English faculty for higher education.

From 1997 onwards the Junior College of Commerce has been added & later on Science faculty in year 2001, which allows the school students to take advantage by taking admission in same college.
